No. Hatsune MIKU Is from VOCALOID. VOCALOID is a program that you buy from YAMAHA. This program allows you to play and toy around with notes that the character you buy sings. Miku is not the only one. There is VOCALOID MEIKO and KAITO, VOCALOID 02 Rin/Len Kagamine, VOCALOID SF-A2 MIKI Furukawa, Gakupoid (Gakupo), Luka Megurine, and Gumpoid (Gumi).
