Sorry to hear this Xtina, I only know a bit about dialysis but I know it is not only hard work but time consuming too.... I am sure your friend will understand, afterall you cannot be without it... could you do the course by post at all? I wish you all the best and thinking of you....Hugs
I give your cheers for your bravery and strength under very difficult circumstances... - hugs my friend ...
(((BIG HUG)))
Hi Xina :) maybe you could invite your friend to see you where you are :) then you will see each other. Im sorry i just found that may be a good idea :/ hugs !!
Oh Xina. Now i understand why you saw yearning in my drawing. I was yearning to be "normal" so that i could do my job, plan the camp. I have severe ADHD and cannot focus unless I hyperfocus like when i draw. And you were yearning to be "normal" too. I know that you handle the whole thing magnificently well. It could afford you a major whine factor you know *gentle smile and big hug* Yet you never mention it, you are a major trooper instead and i admire you greatly. Thats the truth. My suggestion darling, if you cannot go (and your friend will understand) is to find something else there that will give you pleasure and buy or do it. What you suffer is not fair and you should get a "make up call" as they say in basketball. I wish I were there, I would take you out to an awesome meal or something! Venting is excellent and this is about the safest place i know to do so. Big hugs Christina.
Oh Xina. I hear so much emotion here. Your friend will be disappointed but she will understand. You on the other hand, will probably suffer any number of emotions coming, to accept your limitations. I know about that.
I have a extremely rare condition called Erythemia-Nodosom. It has been apart of my life since I was 29 yrs old. Most Drs. have only heard of it. The Mayo clinic doesn't have anyone who can help. My mobility is very limited. Aging has made everything worse. I could go on but I shared this because, I know WHAT IT IS TO HAVE TO SAY NO, WHEN EVERY FIBER OF MY EMOTIONS AND MIND WANTS IT TO BE YES. I hope you can come to grips with what is BEST FOR YOUR HEALTH. I know being reasonable may not be what you want to hear but, go with what your "gut tells you". Thanks for sharing...hope it helped. L2U and HUGS
I want to say that I understand all that you say, but I can't. But I know what it feels like to have the break a promise to a friend. I hope you your kidney gets better and that you get some good experiences out of it!
Your friend should understand...
I didn't really understand all the story cause i couldn't read part of it, but i'm so sorry that you're that unhappy. I understand kidney problems a bit because my 14 year old was born with misshappen and misplaced kidneys and we've had to endure horrible tests and long trips to dallas for years. They finally said that she could quit all that as long as there are no problems. I know that isn't nearly as bad as your situation, but I am sorry for your dilemma. Hope ya get to feeling better now that it's off your chest. Good luck! :)
