yeah ! I agree Torchie! I havent been here for a few days- but only due yom personal circumstances- SF is one of the friendliest most cheerful places on the net- and no one is too opinionated! HUGS

I'm staying, lag may be kinda frustrating, but after a while you just get used to it(Or i did anyway) matt and andrew might come back sometime, who knows what they're working on now.

PHEW!! thanks Torchie! my feelings exactly....the number of negative drawings and comments about this site and the guys that run it was what would heve sent me away way before the lag or breakdowns!...
What they have built here is fabulous and took/takes a level or skill and expertise )not to mention an incredible time load when things go wrong i imagine) that is far more than i could ever dream of learning. I expect that most people here are the same when it comes to programming skills. I am grateful for what they have given us.
As for those who constantly critisize (either here or at 2draw or anywhere else).....i just wonder who it was that supported them and encouraged them and gave them the confidence to grow in their abilities in the first place....???? i see kids as young as 5 telling me *i can't draw, i cant do this , i cant do that, im dumb etc*..... it makes my blood boil that someone (probably an adult) has given the that impression!!
Encourage, enjoy, support.....return the gift that was given to you.
(who wound me?? sheesh! sorry for the rant...but it is one of my pet hates)

I'm not going ANYWHERE!!!! :D So suffer lol

I'm with MissA, I went to 2draw, not a very welcoming site by my experience, too many opinionated dominant people for my liking. I have switched to FG now and have only done one drawing. I do love FU, I love how the people are here, everyone cheers and comments and everyone stays happy. The way I look at it, if you don't like it, its your own opinion so keep it to yourself! Sorry, got carried away there and just rambled with no meaning to you guys, haha. I'm here, I'm going nowhere, I'm just trying FG for the tools and love it so far. This place is wonderful and fun, if I can have fun its a plus and when the drama gets to me I go away...2draw only took a week haha.

Hey Torchie!

I plan on keeping my FU account as long as I can. But, for days I couldn't sign on, got frustrated with all the lag, etc. That, and my need to grow and feel more challenged has taken me to other sites with better drawing tools to see what I can do there. FU is still my happy doodle place and the best place to really get to know and chat with other artists. I'd miss that if I totally left, but, I really was worried that FU was at death's door until late last night when I finally got signed in.....yeah!

Going to FG is a plus for me as I can upload and add to my pencil draws there and I can't here. Anyway, my point is, I'm just expanding my horizons as an artist rather than limiting them. Several others seem to feel very much the same way, and I expect you'll see them popping in and out too once FU gets over some glitches. For example, I still can't access my profile page for instance or my deleted draws....grrr.....can anyone else?

Precisely!! I thought perhaps this might have been a small challenge to the guys to create this site, which turned into a wonderful little location & they might be very busy with other challenges also. If you think about it, they are either helping some, and we don't know, or this site is running on it's own (?). I do wonder that maybe alot of the 'add on' pictures might be bogging things down also. When one draw turns into 30 very quickly, because another artist drew another strand of hair (hehe) and published it, then that space could have been valued by the greater artists (that might have left) to post one of their wonderful works but the server or site wouldn't accept it? So many unanswered questions, I guess, that is making others a little impatient. Seems some are struggling more than others, but in the long term this site is very enjoyable for me as well! I just hope everyone is d/l their pics and saving just in case. Besides, this is kinda like a breeze considering some of the issues other sites have & what we've put up with at inkSTINK! hehe. I'm here for the long run! Hope we can keep up the drawing instead of the draw-ma and the guys will return soon! ;-) L8*

Yes Torchie I am staying too, between the lag here and my computer it takes be a bit to complete a picture but i still LOVE the people here and the amzing art of everyone..........also i can't view long draw so i have missed making a lot of comments to all my friends.........i hope everyone understands cause my laptop has been in the shop....but i am getting it back tomorrow yah then i will have like 250 comments to catch up on...........I LOVE FU AND THE FAMILY HERE THANKS TORCHIE

Im addicted to FU and it is the best drawing site i found so far :) I love that i can do animes on it :) so if everyone leave at least i know i will not staying here all alone :D YAY and like SG says : its a wonderful family here :)

Ok Torchmeister, I was never going anywhere anyway. I am just looking for a site to post my photographs being as I cannot draw at all. It just got that so many of our good friends were trying other sites and I was worried the great Fu community that we all have would break down. Long live Fu! We DO love it here, we have a great family.
