Thanks Gerry! glad to see you around- take my advice and get a secondhand wacom- it saved me money and i must have had mine 4 years!....I do hope you keep in touch here and at YD.. I did draw at 2draw and FG for a while, but got fed up with having my drawings at 2draw being moved to beginner because I draw TOO FAST! because the pictures were done in less than half an hour they really got funny with me... I know its probably pique on my part to- but I do find people here much more fun and willing to be silly!!!
lol that siad I might peek at 2 draw, but drawing on 2 sites is really enough for me- tempus fugit!
anyhoo Hugs and hope you have fun doing proper painting..

Hi hon! Always happy when I see you here :) I'm testing the waters at FG but FU is still home for me ... LOVE the community here. I only go to 2Draw to view ... boy, they are churning out some fantastic stuff there! And, there's always YD :D I think we're wasting our time with petitions and pleas to Matt and Andrew ... they're good at banning trolls, but I don't think we're going to see any upgrades around here. But that's just my opinion. Anyway, at least we know where we can catch up with our chums! Hope to see you back here drawing SOON ... FU without The Bear is missing something special ;)

What a cute draw & there she is! Our missing Gerbear! And yes, you are always missed when away. I had forgotten about the wacom being broken and thought maybe you just took off somewhere for the holiday....lol.

Well, I have joined 2draw and Ginkgo, but, I'm not jumping ship either. Like Fuzzy I'll be frogging it.....ribbit!....lol.

I'm still more comfortable with the controls here and I do like the way the comments and profiles are set up here better. Not to mention all the crazy FU-heads....lol.

I'm trying to learn the different applets but geez!....all those buttons are kicking my behind! 2draw's a little easier to work with and I've drawn a couple of things there already. Ginkgo is tuff, but, it does let me upload my pencil sketches and all my other draws into galleries on the same site....that's nice.

Anyway, I've written a novel here.....lol. And the short story is....

I'm not leaving, just stickin' my toe in to see what else is out there that I can learn from.

gerry hello ...I never understood why there has to be a them and us ..why is someone drawing at 2draw a loss. I have always been one who sees a structure as strong as the foundation it is built on, be it one person or the whole tribe. Do we really have to see it that way again. Life is a choice and if someone happens to draw at 2draw or you draw or right here at sketchfu the fact that they are still drawing will always be a step in the right direction. I could be wrong but I know for sure that it gets darker before the Dawn Rising...

I have been gone *L* I was painting, but it was siding!!
I got some more work this week and am leaving again this weekend so if I am scarce tha tis why. I have not quite given up on the SF ship quite yet.
But not having a wacom pen is driving me mad, I am way too spoiled to go back so need to resolve that before i even attempt a decent draw.

Hope everyone who clelebrates it had a lovely easter. The weather has been GLORIOUS here, not to gloat but..GLOAT!!! Perfect blue skies, literally not a cloud in the sky, coolish weather, no humidity (that is a MIRACLE for this area) and I got to be outside painting in it for 4 days!!

I miss everyone and especially those who are keeping touch, you know who you are! I'll try to get back soon and keep signing that petition and passing it so it stays on the first page!! I went to
Matts web site and there is not an email address anywhere in sight.
they will see comments left on their profile tho, you could flood them there, they won't see comments left on your own profile, not with 23,000 profiles out there.

anyhow, I hope it can be saved, we just lost another outstanding artist this week to 2draw. This is sad to see the social structure disappear here.
