This represents the Tsunami to me Michael, so many lost so fast and so tragically. the tilted angle adds to the drama of the piece, makes the viewer feel as if they are in the water too and being tossed about. Powerful piece of art Michael.
it is not cute or funny but you are getting those 2 cheers from me as well. I looked at this a day or so ago but the sense of loss it gave me made it difficult to write a positive comment. a very powerful drawing.I gave the impressive cheer then and wish o could give it again.
I thought of all the poor slaves that were thrown overboard from slave ships in the middle of the ocean... perhaps some have survived here.. I just feel this is so deep and meaningful, I hope they will find safety
