Luthien, this is truly wonderful and I am so sorry that I am just now commenting on this wonderful painting. You've captured this one perfectly and I am honored that you did this for me. I really do love the LOTR movies and watch them often. Even though Sam was a bit of a whiner, his loyalty to Frodo was unprecedented. Thanks again for this dedication.

Wonderful portrait and for such a nice guy too!!! I feel that you caught the essence of Sam, yes he whined, but he also was the most steadfast, loyal and at the end brave friend anyone could ask for. i loved sam, he exhibited a lot of growth thru the story.

Amazing as usual :) Though Sam was never one of my favourite characters... all he ever did was whine ^^

I'm not making any excuses for this one. I just want to say that it let me get to know Sam and Sean Astin's face a little better and yes, I did rather enjoy myself! ^_^ Both the character and the actor are wonderful, though one likes to talk a whole lot more then the other. *g*

I wanted to share this video with you guys: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmLYw6wglEY I saw it at ORC 2007, so not only does it have spectacular editing, it also has sentimental value. *smiles* I never thought I'd like LOTR put to modern music this much! I wonder if I can go back to LA when ORC comes around again...

I'm getting rusty. I need to watch the movies and pick through the books again! :D Yes! Gotta stay positive here and quit drooping over my work! Enjoy!
