She is a gem means she is very precious like a diamond or ruby, we calls those kind of stones gems. Your work just gets stronger and stronger, she does seem to be looking intently into the future, focused on finding what she wants. Very lovely ferdi!

Yes Ferdi, it's mesmerizing to watch you create this special character, who looks so hungry and who does remind one of so many little teenage faces I've seen looking for...someone. Also want to mention that your backgrounds add so much, & really make the messages of the faces clearer, in this case creating dramatic tension & conflict even though the colors are the most silky smooth and luscious I've seen on Sketchfu...!

I just want to add another comment....I had to "replay" this one more time.....I think this is my favorite face that you've drawn so far. All of your drawings are amazing.....but there's something special about this one.....I think it reminds me of someone very special.
