I sifted through some vid's and music samples online and was reminded why I didn't remember the music. I avoided it....lol. He has been given credit for being one of the pioneers of the Goth scene.

He was just too dark and depressing for me, even in my heavy metal head banging days....lol. Can you imagine me as a head banger? Scary, but true. Okay, I was a tame version....rofl, but my clothes were sometimes out there! Groupie to substitue teacher...a journey the school staff still can't believe.....lol. Luckily, there really aren't any pic's of me during that time. I was usually behind the camera so noone can blackmail me.....lol.

Oh, now there's a name and face I had forgotten. Can't say I remember the music though. I may have to go look him up to jar the memories.

Actually from the thymbnail it looks more like Rick springfield, and quite a bit in the larger version as well, nice one!

Nick cave and the bad seeds's, he's probobly more well known for his unlikely duet with kylie minogue singing where the wild rose grow lol he was a crack pot i dont know where he's vanished to :P great drawing!!

Nick Cave was the lead singer in a band called "The Birthday Party" in the 1980's and then performed as Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds for many years. He was always known as someone that was at the "performance art" edge of the rock music scene. He still performs today.
