None of you came across as rude, and I like an honest dialogue. Thanks for commenting.

I see your point here, but...if someone takes one drawing and adapts it to make it their own; or to make it better and improve upon it, then that's fine - everyone is always learning and finding out new ways of making their work better, but...if people take one drawing and actually INSULT the owner by RUINING the drawing from scribbling over it with nonsensical rubbish, THEN people are reluctant.
I'm not being rude, just that's my opinion ^^

I am reluctant because i feel it is simply RUDE.
Is it SO difficult to ask?
is it SO difficult to RESPECT the TIME somebody put into their work and simply ask if it is alrite? Please see my other comment about private ownership.

My life is not infinite and my time is precious. I would want people to respect my time as i respect theirs.

If having artwork defaced and scribbled upon is fine, then graffiti on public building walls is fine and scribbling on artwork on the walls of museums is fine. I mean, extrapolate it out. Where does it stop? Why can't I scribble over the Mona Lisa? Leonardo is even dead. So who cares if I ruin it? There is no logic here that I can follow.
Sorry, not meaning to be rude, I am simply being honest as you were. *smile*

I bet I'll regret this, it's a bit negative I guess... hey, people, don't SketchFu when in a bad mood, alright?
