Thank you, Centaur, for your kind comments. The Winnie the Pooh comment is very sentimental. It goes with the drawing entitled Good bye Bear. We just lost a family member last week to cancer. His nickname was Bear. The picture and the quote are in honor of him.

The Chicago of the 70s is no more. You wouldn't know the city today. You ought to check out the city today. It is a beautiful place. Funny, I moved from California to Chicago in the 70s. Maybe we passed each other on Route 66! Ha!

I was back there in 1972 for my dad's funeral. I'm sure things have changed alot since then. My grandfather used to work on tugboats on the lake and I remember that he had the boat docked at the Navy Pier. That was in the 50's. THAT sure has changed alot.

I was born in chitown 1950 then we moved to Calif. in '65. I was from the northwest side....Armitage and Kimball area.
