I reword things a lot if they sound weird. That's why it takes me a long time to respond to messages...

I also hate the word "hi" when it's the only word said. "Hi" just looks stupid to me, but "hi" doesn't look right, either. "HI" looks right, but it feels like I'm yelling at someone.

I also have O.C.D., so everything has to be CAPITALIZED and S P E L L E D correctly.

I capitalize for bold, which is how I emphasize, and /use these as italics/... It also depends on one's writing style.

If people know your personality, they'd be able to tell when you're emphasizing. Or at least I can.
